Advice to Authors

To enhance the likelihood of having a proposal accepted as part of the program, authors should ensure that their proposal exhibits the following characteristics. Reviewers will evaluate the proposal based on how well it aligns with each of these criteria.

  • The proposal should directly concern itself with strategic management literature and match broadly with the track to which it is submitted.
  • The proposal addresses an original and interesting research question.
  • The proposal should be clearly articulated, with logically sequenced and well-structured sentences and paragraphs.
  • The proposal should include a concise survey of the available literature related to the research question.
  • The proposal should be methodologically strong.
  • The proposal should have good theoretical rigor in the arguments.
  • The proposal makes a unique/novel contribution to strategic management literature.
